Encore
Encore is our foundation mare. She is by a Diplomat Way son, Frankly Diplomatic, and out of an Anglo-Trakehner mare, Milagro's Megan. We petitioned the Board of Directors of the American Trakehner Association to allow her to be presented for inspection as she is 3/4 Thoroughbred, and 1/4 Trakehner and was not technically eligible for inspection. However, after 9 years of discussion with the American Trakehner Association's staff and board of directors, she was permitted to be inspected for the "betterment of the breed" at the Convention in Houston, Texas in 2005. She was approved at this inspection where her excellent manners and temperament were much admired. Prior to her retirement to the broodmare barn in 2000, Encore competed in Hunters and Jumpers. She proved herself to be extremely athletic and was rarely beaten over fences. She competed at the local levels and at some rated shows in Florida up to the 3' divisions. She also competed at a few Dressage shows through Training Level, but at home we schooled up to 3rd Level movements. Encore is the dam of Emerald Impressions and Emerald Fire. She has been confirmed in foal to Oskar II for a 2008 full sister or brother to Emerald Fire. ** NEWS FLASH!** Cory delivered a beautiful COLT on June 16, 2008!
